Contributers and Fellow Collectors

I would like to thank the following collectors of Japanese War Memorabilia for their generous offer to provide pictures of their rarer bayonets. Without their help, this page would be lacking pictures of bayonets that I have yet to purchase for my collection.

Raymond LaBar... I would first like to thank Ray for the knowledge that he shares with all the Japanese bayonet collectors using his vast collection of Japanese Bayonets dating from the very early models to the present models used by the modern Japanese Defense Forces. Without Ray, the accuracy of my page would be somewhat questionable. Ray has been the "unofficial" proof reader and editor of this website. Ray always seems to locate the bayonets that I am missing in my collection.

Chip Goddard.......Training bayonets and other very rare bayonets.

Francis C. Allen...Chinese manufactured "Type 30 "bayonets.

Jareth Holub.......Chinese manufactured "Type 30 "bayonets.

Martin Peterson...Chinese "Arsenal 90" Bayonet.

Brad Bloom.........For the very detailed page on Japanese bayonet maufacturer's marks and close-up photos of each mark.

Rick Veal.......Providing me with some of the rarer bayonets in my collection.

Dennis "Otto" Ottobre....Providing me with pictures of a rare "late war" Mukden and rare variation of an Osaka bayonet. Please visit his site at www.ebayonet.com

William Skanes.......Providing me with some of the rare bayonets and sharing his expertise on Japanese bayonets and scabbards.

Mario D. Rossetti.......Providing me with photos of his rare "special purpose"paratrooper fighting knife / bayonet..
